Africa is the least developed continent on our planet and the most ravaged by poverty and disease. Malnuriousment, abhorrent living conditions and the AIDS virus all run rampant here yet we only seem to hear about it when we accidentally catch the odd infomercial or when Bono heads up a new initiative. All this despite the fact that Africa is positively huge, much bigger geographically than many of the world’s more known regions.
