It has occurred to me that perhaps time requires and even dictates, to some finite extent, what we perceive as consciousness. I believe quite firmly that “consciousness” itself is something outside of time and space, but that doesn’t mean that one doesn’t possibly relate directly to the other.

It is important to distinguish between the time that we know exists in four-dimensional spacetime and the time that we perceive to exist via consciousness. Maybe I’ll coin a term here – time as we perceive it should be called psytime. Give me my Nobel Prize! :D
