Eating Habits
You are what you eat.
How true that statement is! The things that we consume affect every single facet of our body and mind and can have serious longterm effects, both negative and positive. The food that we eat is, in my opinion, one of the most important topics that we need to address in the interest of taking our lives to the next level.
I am a vegetarian. Raw fresh fruit and vegetables make up a large part of my daily food intake and I supplement that with grains and vitamins. I do not drink milk in any form; I use a soy-based replacement when necessary (cereal!). I do consume eggs from a researched open range farm. I eat the least amount of refined foods possible and I’m slowly working on my addiction to chocolate
My eating habits are not nearly perfect and I’m working to learn and reflect in order to continue to hone them until they are perfect. I’ve found the changes surprisingly easy when I expected difficulty and the positive changes to my health, both physically and spiritually, are immeasurable.
The articles found in this section are at risk of sounding preachy at times, and I want to say from the outset that that has never been my intention. I’m a firm vegetarian for spiritual and health reasons and my views are very apparent when I write about the topic. I hope only to guide you towards making more informed choices that will potentially sit a little better with your spirituality and increase your health as well.

You can cure your chocolate fix by eating one of the most powerful foods: cacao. Just mix raw cacao powder with maple syrup, honey, or agave. YUM. Good little blurb… I’m vegan and mostly raw.

Always nice to hear of fellow vegans/vegetarians. I don’t know if I could do the raw thing though.

I share the addiction to chocolate……..another option rather than the raw and agave?
