I went to see them at a workshop with a friend. I saw things I’d never seen before- with my own eyes, and found out I had abilities I never was aware of. Esther is not a fake or a scam. People who say she is are of the same mentality as those who ridiculed and murdered Jesus. Doubt and bitter ridicule are ugly human traits and I pity those who go there. Esther is a teacher- don’t like her?- don’t listen.But don’t call her a scam because you are angry or bitter or miserable and don’t believe in anything outside yourself. She channels those who wish to teach. I know – I can see them- and I am not mentally ill in any way. My family and co-workers would not believe it was me saying this..I don’t tell becuase of people like those here who don’t know what they are…but your own eyes don’t lie, and neither does Esther.

I only know when I listen to Esther speaking she makes a lot of sense and it leaves me feeling soothed. It helps to feel I am nearly in the vortex. It helps not to think about guilt and sin and all the other negative stuff which organised religions push down our throats. I feel calmer and saner as a result. Where is the harm in that?

When you Know you KNOW…then you will not even need to question whether it is true or not…you will KNOW it s is truth or not.. that is why Esther and Jerry do not push it on anyone…we will all get it when we are ready and only then…Esther and Jerry KNOW this. I am grateful they are willing to share.

“original proponents of the Law of Attraction”

You mean, besides Judge Troward, Napoleon Hill, and William Walker Atksinson? All of them wrote on the Law of Attraction, referring to it by name, and discussed it in the same way that Abraham discusses it today. I think they would be closer to the original proponents than Abraham. And why are they “obviously evolved”? What does that even mean?

I think it is to do with the fact that Esther Hicks is a woman. If Esther Hicks had been a man she would have presented herself as a guru or an “enlightened teacher”, but i don’t think she has the ego to pull that off. So it is far easier for her to present herself as a channel for spiritual beings. And perhaps it is to do with societies attitudes, it is still easier for most people to accept a man as an ‘enlightened teacher’ than a woman. So being a medium is a far less controversial way for her to present her message.

I agree, “by their fruits ye shall know them”. So Esther Hicks has to be judged by the message to gives, and how it helps people. Though obviously her message is not for all people.

Worry not. That’s not possible. Let the ones who aren’t ready to hear it, be who they are. You be who you are. As the Abester would say, “don’t let them in your pie.” Chris is entitled to his opinion. Everyone is. Abraham calls it “contrast” and delights in it. It will be nice when people like him are able to let others have their opinions and experiences without denying and belittling.

People who do not allow others have not personally experienced their power. Chris has convinced himself that all the people who have come to this knowledge are nuts. He can’t imagine that they have actually experienced the magic of the universe. It’s kinda funny actually.

Do what feels right for you and all will be good. Life really is an inside job.

I appreciate the clarity of Abraham and others. I love what has happened in my life as this knowledge has sunk in. It feels like magic. It feels like power. The funny thing is, people who know it and experience it, don’t feel the need to convince people like Chris of anything. Allow them be…. and don’t attract them.

please do not kill the little good Abraham makes in this world. its a small step in making a better world. at least, Abraham’s audience would be positive about life and focus on what is good in their lives so they can experience what God has created for them… unlike many others who take things too seriously that a lot of bad things happen to them and forget to appreciate the little things God has made around them… Abraham teaches the world to appreciate all that is for what they are, and focus on what you want so that when you live in contrast, you’ll know what it is you want and get it. it just makes life a little bit happier to live in. hehe

It doesn’t really matter whether people believe in this or not. The Law of Attraction is real, regardless of what people think. God created humans and everything in the universe as energetic entities. The universe itself is set up on a magnetic plane. Therefore whatever you focus your thoughts on is what you magnetically draw to you. For the person above who said it’s “pure shenanigans”, I ask you this………..are you more intelligent than God? Are you doubting that God created humans and the universe to work in this exact way so that every person and animal would have just what they most need to survive? Stop being so foolish and lacking in faith and look around to see the evidence that this is the way our GOD created the world!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the last sentence says it all: Matthew 7:20 says, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

Jerry Hicks mission statement also speaks loudly. “It is my intention that the lives of all people I interact with will either be elevated as a result of our interaction, or they will be left where they are, but that no one will be diminished as a result of their association with me”.

I have yet to see someone diminished from their experience with this wonderful information.

I like their message – focus on what you want, take responsibility for your inner space and believe from choice rather than default from social norms. The thing that people don’t realize is that we’re all “channelers”- we’re an “I” that’s driving this “self”; we always describe ourselves in 3rd person. We’re a self-consciousness channeling through a physical body and this consciousness is totally intangible, like our self definitions that we use to describe ourselves. I mean can you show me what “yourself” is without using ideas without a form? It’s like asking a radio to show it’s music. So she may have another intelligence speaking through her body. Or not, but it doesn’t seem too far fetched to me. The only that’s kinda lacking in her teachings is this – you have to live up to what you want. You can’t have a greater life without being greater yourself. I also think the Secret can be dangerous for total egomaniacs – those that can’t think outside of themselves and contemplate the effect of their desires with the rest of the world. I practice the principles well – I moved to LA 2 years ago homeless/jobless and launched a great career. Still, watching the Secret I was rubbing my face thinking “aww f*ck I hope a child molester doesn’t watch this”. “I affirm I’m surrounded by preteen sex slaves” ewwwwww.
