"All of the earth's destruction brought to you by the evolution of modern man and his intellect, not the author of man's genetic code."
No, there was plenty of destruction done by the churches and religions even when they thought the earth was flat. Although Christians and Muslims are often happy to use modern technology to torture unbelievers even more effectively.

"It sounds like you misunderstood the core precepts of Christianity: humility and meekness."
Sounds like you assume he has not heard it all before. Standard assumption in arrogant Christians who think only they have read their bible and bore nonbelievers who have heard all their rationalizations a trillion times already. Your own words don't exactly ring with humility and meekness.

"You looked at the products of people who claimed to be Christians."
Yes, around 95% of the people who claim to be Christians are not Christians, except when Christians are trying to argue from position of the majority, in which case you need to flip the numbers around.

"Such a stereotypical perception of the world you have."
Look in the mirror.

"Claiming that the other can not know it all, yet you know all of Christianity and other faiths, along with the actions of all people involved in such thought."
You don't need to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows! Once the manipulativeness of religion has been seen through, the differences are seen to be on the surface only.

"God does not like the proud and destructive man. Neither does he have much faith in the foolishness of the smartest of men."
A veiled insult and you clearly consider yourself above all that - you are both humble and wise, Ben Kenobi. But you're just one more religious person whining that his ego has been bruised by someone daring to contradict them. (Many religious people equate being contradicted with persecution, fortunately for them their persecution does not involve the things that religion has visited on other people).

What are your thoughts on polytheistic religion? I've always related monotheism to an autocracy with 'one ruler and one answer to everything' and polytheism to an oligarchy or perhaps something more egalitarian. Either way, they're both bad, but monotheism does seem to deserve terser scrutiny.

I'm a Christians but, while I do take offense to some of your words, I can see that many other points are correct. It seems to me however that it is the fault of man, not God.

This is a very good article, well-written and concise. It speaks to everyone who has ever questioned existence, which is all of us.
